Aliyah progressed enough to allow Christal to do Kangaroo Care. Everyday, they back off of the breathing support and increase her feedings. All the test results have come back negative. We still don't understand why she got sick, but we are thankful for her healing! God is faithful!
Aliyah was back to smiling again today! Christal was trying not to stay at the hospital as much the last few days because she wanted the baby to get some rest. When Christal went Monday, Aliyah got excited and was kicking with excitement. That is so exciting. I want to believe she recognizes us. She did open her eyes a little bit yesterday when I was there visiting her as well.
We love you so much Aliyah. We are praying and have many other people praying for you as well. You will be well soon and coming home with us! You are strong and mighty. You are talented both physically and mentally. You will make an impact on all you encounter. In Jesus name!
