Aliyah's blood work showed she may have an infection.  Struggling to maintain her breaths were the first indication that something may be going on.  This occurred hours after she received the last vaccination.

This also caused the doctors to put her back on a ventilator (tube down her throat to her lungs).  They tried the CPAP, but she was still struggling.  Christal and I went to visit her again last night.  We hadn't seen her that way since she was born.  The results of the blood culture are expected this morning.  It will tell the doctors specifically what type of infection she is dealing with.

During our visit, with two tubes in her mouth, Aliyah managed to smile multiple times.  This was so encouraging to me.  Ignoring all that was going on around her, she was smiling.  Is that not a lesson for all of us......Tough times don't last.....tough people do!  Go Aliyah.  Show us how it's supposed to be done.  We are cheering for you and can't wait to bring that smile home with us.

God bless each of you and thank you for your continued prayers!

PS:  Happy 2 month birthday.
