Tool cool for a crib :) 7/3/2011

6/30/2011 4 lb 9.4 oz
7/1/2011 4 lb 8.7 oz
7/2/2011 4 lb 7.6 oz (Ventilator taken off)
7/3/2011 4 lb 6.9 oz

Spent a little time with Aliyah yesterday.  She was doing ok.  While the feeding was going on, I tried to let her suck on the pacifier a little to work on her muscles in her mouth.  She was able to suck on it for 10 min without a break.  The feeding tube is going through her nose now making it a little easier to suck.

The nurses attempted to put her in a crib yesterday, but she was unable to keep her temperature up.  Understanding her limitations will help us mark the progress.

There has definitely been a lot going on the last few weeks.  Growth is not an easy process though.  There is a reason they are call "Growing Pains".  I try to always look at the challenges as a gateway to the next great thing.  Lance Wallnau said it best..."The spiritaul revelation is played out in the natural shaking of events in your life."  We must look at the shaking of our life events as a promise not a problem.  When we pray for success, abundance, and revelation, it will come through trials, challenges, and unexpected hardships.  As we pass each test and overcome each challenge, we will be better prepared for what we have asked for.  We all know what happens when a child is given money...they spend it!  They have no concept of savings and investments.  The same applies with life and promotion.  If we are not prepared for what we are given, we will fail to take advantage of it.

I praying for Aliyah that she will have influence and prosperous during her life on earth.  God knows best how to prepare Aliyah for her journey.

God Bless,
Barry G.
